MY STORY
A LIFE OF FAITH, SERVICE AND HARD WORK
I am a 56 year old christian conservative husband and father with a daughter who is a senior in high school and two grown sons. I have three grandchildren, one boy and two girls. I serve as a music minister at my church.
I have also served in the Army and National Guard under several roles, and I have served during combat operations in Iraq.
I have been a Georgia resident my entire life, and grew up in Newton County. I attended high School at Newton County High School, and earned an associate’s degree in IT networking from the University of Phoenix while I was in the military. I am currently continuing my education as an IT professional in the area of information security.
I have worked in industry during the time I was not in the military and when I was in the National Guard. I have been a working man all of my life, and neither I nor my family are wealthy. I am a regular working man who started off in industrial maintenance and worked my way up to an IT professional. This gives me a different and valuable perspective when it comes to the people I wish to serve and help when I am elected, because I can see how prices, wages and taxes affect working people, and I can speak from personal experience.
